Appletipple is an ode to a golden afternoon in the Normandy countryside, where the leaves of an apple orchard are turning and brandy ages quietly in the cellar. Picture a grand château near the edge of the Seine, bonfire smoke drifting across the fields and the soft hush of the season settling in.

The fragrance opens bright, with Red Berries and Almond, fresh and a little sharp before the warmth arrives.

At its heart sits Calvados apple brandy, crisp and fruity with a subtle boozy edge, rounded by Honey and Aged Spices. Together they suggest autumn colour, orchard fruit and the warmth of fires in the fields, a gentle sweetness balanced by the coolness of the air.

The base settles into Oak and Santal, grounding the composition in warmth and wood. Appletipple is built on contrast: fresh fruit against aged wood, warmth against distance. I've tried 4 of the saltworks fragrances and none of them really suited me, this one however is gorgeous, I will definitely be purchasing a full size bottle of this scent.
