I decided to treat myself after repeatedly seeing adverts for the discovery set on social media. I’m not usually given to this kind of ‘gambling’, but gave in to the temptation on this occasion. The purchase process was easy - a couple of clicks and ApplePay and I was done. The parcel arrived quickly - in only a couple of days. The outer wrapper was an anonymous looking mailing bag, but once I opened it I was impressed with the sturdy custom made air filled envelope that protected my scented treasure. The box looked as luscious as it had on screen - deep teal and gold with a matching ribbon. Inside was the £25 voucher against a future purchase, a classy looking booklet that gave me lots of information about the scents and my ten little vials for discovery. It may be a bit early to be writing this review, as I’m only today trying the second fragrance. A single spritz on the wrist of the first, ‘Brown Sugar’, lasted all day. I couldn’t stop bringing my wrist to my nose to be able to breathe in the glorious scent once more! I only wish my vocabulary was equal to describing the alluring scent. Today I tried the second, ‘Ko Meme’. Also lovely. I can’t wait to experience a new one each day. The full size bottles of scent are not cheap, but I believe that they would last a long time and thus be very good value. Until I’ve finished my exploration of the discovery box, however, I’m not committing myself to a choice!
I have been using the same perfume (actually eau de cologne) for 40 years, but can no longer get it. I had tried others, but never liked anything else. What I have found most interesting with the Discovery sets is that I didn’t like what I expected to like from the descriptions, but loved a complete ‘wild card’. I went for the ‘fresh’ set first, thinking that was more me, but only really liked Rainstorm. Trying the ‘original’ Discovery set afterwards was definitely the right decision. I now have a number one favourite, Tabac Soleil, and am in the process of deciding between three possible runner ups, including Rainstorm from the Fresh set. I might get one for winter and one for summer, or go for three small bottles plus a big one of my absolute favourite. Having the time and enough for several sprays is allowing me to rate them, make notes in booklet and pitch them against each other, or even combine pairs. The sets are such a great idea.
This must be the best idea ever and worth every penny , to try a difference fragrance every day is just so exciting to smell a different scent , also how the fragrance softens and mellows and still smells great at the end of the day , I have only tried 5 at the mo but already gave a couple of special ones , my granddaughters are eager to try them too lol , I have a great idea for Christmas now even for the men too , getting up in the morning and deciding which one to try is special too altho I have had one that only sprays a tiny bit and then doesn’t work for quite a while …. I think that would be a favourite too if I could get a proper smell …. But the box is just magical and I love it and so will the women in my family too!
I am often bombarded with adverts when doom scrolling on social media during the wakeful nighttime hours, so something has to sound pretty special to get me to take notice. Your advert did just that, and on a spur of the "I'm worth a treat" moment I purchased your discovery experience set. There was a short delay in processing my order but an email keeping me updated arrived and soon after my order. From the first glimpse it was a wow experience. The packaging is sturdy, but beautiful and once opened it's like having your own personal perfumery right there in front of you. The booklet gives a detailed description of what each vial contains and the ten vials can be mixed in any combination or worn alone. The possibilities are endless. So far all that I have tried have been extremely long lasting, well over 12 hours and one squirt is all that's needed. I don't have a favorite yet, but look forward to finding my signature scent. If you haven't tried this company out yet, don't waste another minute. I think I've found a gem of a company, you will too!
For the best part of 35 years, I’ve worn some form of fragrance EVERY SINGLE DAY; from Avon’s Far and Away in my mid teens, to some more exclusive products by Creed and Tom Ford in my 40s and literally HUNDREDS in between. My friends half-jokingly refer to me as ‘a perfume marketers dream’ because I’m the kind of gal who races out to sample new fragrances as soon as they hit the shops; and smell is most definitely my primary sense! So imagine my excitement when I came across a social media post advertising a selection of 10 new fragrances from a brand I’d not heard of before. Intrigue activated and order placed! And I have to say that I’m suitably impressed. The packaging was lovely, very luxurious and the scents are all fabulously unique and long lasting. My biggest problem now is deciding which one is my favourite - I’ve narrowed it down to four just now - and will be returning soon to purchase a full size bottle (with the help of the enclosed money offer voucher). I had bought this set for my mum and daughter for Christmas. I was so impressed with the gorgeous perfumes, so I bought a set for myself for my birthday! I have had tons of compliments and I just need to chose a favourite so that I can use my voucher, hmmm that’s the hard part! 🥰
Purchased for my Mum as a Birthday gift, she loves it and the fragrances (which I also get asked to smell) are all lovely. It arrived quickly and the box with its ribbon looked so nice I didn't even bother with wrapping paper as it really looked the part without needing to add gift wrap. The booklet where you can rate the fragrances for yourself is a brilliant addition and a great idea. Very happy customer 😊
I have really enjoyed the discovery set and filling in the little booklet that accompanies it. I like all the perfumes, but my favourite perfumes are Lady Marmalade, Oud Harmony and Rose Boheme. I am currently deciding which 100ml bottle to buy.
Loved every one of it both me and the Mr, and they seem to change the scents from when spray and till later on but in a good way in a Devine way.
They are all really beautiful fragrances, and it is so hard to choose which one of them I want to buy. So I am now on round 2 of trying them all for a day each and making notes in the lovely booklet that came with the set. My favourite I think is Surfari but after this week I should definitely have decided, I hope lol x. Update, I ordered the Surfari and am absolutely over the moon, the packaging is fabulous and thank you so much for the travel size as well 💖 really appreciated x x
I have only tried 2 yet, as you don’t need to use much to smell amazing. Surfari is my favourite and the best people’s pleaser so far! Everyone commented at work how amazing I smelt! 🥰 It literally still smelt after 24 hours on my wrist! 😍 Can’t wait to try the rest and chose my favourite. ❤️
The box and wrapping are so gorgeous and luxurious. The fragrance delightfully decadent and it’s hard to choose a favourite! My only regret is that one of the samples only sprayed once and gave up so I didn’t get to experience the whole sample bottle.
I loved the idea of the discovery box because I am guilty of blind buying perfumes and they sit in the cupboard indefinitely .. I am sooooo glad I did because the ones I became obsessed with were not ones I’d ordinarily have ordered going by the names or descriptions.. soo far my favs are tabac soleil and surfari 🤩🤩🤩
I love this set and they smell so lovely I have several favourites! Only thing disappointing is they don’t last long on me … but they all smell gorgeous! My favourites are brown sugar. Surfari and oud bazaar! Definitely love this set ! Can’t decide on my signature yet but I will!

I have been looking for a new perfume after they stopping making mine and thought I’d try this set after being utterly overwhelmed at the choices in the shops. I loved the idea of being able to try the perfumes properly and in your own time. They do develop over a couple of hours and you do need that time to find the ones you really love. Inevitably you will like some more than others. Some disappeared on me quite quickly or I liked the initial notes but not so much the base that came later. Others I really liked or loved. I am currently absolutely torn between Brown Sugar and Surfari. I adore them both and on me, they do last really well. It is fantastic to be able to wear them normally for a whole day or evening before making your choice and then to get almost the cost of the set back by way of the £25 voucher. I love the little note book too but once you have worn the one(s) for you, you don’t forget them ! I am really glad I gave this set a try and am looking forward to having bigger bottles of my favourites. The 25ml travel sizes are also a winner for me. Overall, a Saltworks discovery set is fantastic idea and it is very well executed. I loved it.
I love the beautiful presentation box with such a variety of perfumes to try. Every one is a winner which makes choosing a favourite, very tricky! I am spreading the word by sharing my 4th or 5th? purchase with friends. For tiny gifts the little sprays are delicious and for more important family or friends, a complete discovery pack is a real treat.

Fabulous idea, a sample set like this, and the notebook with space for our own comments is inspired. I didn't love all of these perfumes (Tabac Soleil in particular has been binned; I had to wash it off and the smell of cigarettes lingered on my skin for ages). However, some I adored and the rest were perfectly usable. I just have to decide which ones of 3 or 4 I want to use my voucher on. Could I suggest that you make available the little testers in small sets (3 or 5), so we could buy the ones we like in smaller amounts?
The Discovery Set - what a beautiful selection of fragrances! I thought I would love ‘Brown Sugar’ (and I do!) but I’ve fallen head over heals for ‘Surfari’. I’ll be putting my £25 voucher to good use and ordering asap!
Beautifully presented set of fragrances, it’s been a week of trying out my 6 favourites. I’ve surprised myself at my top 3 but finding it really hard to decide which one to buy a full size bottle of. I’ve also made a shortlist of ones that aren’t in discovery set to buy in travel size format.
I'm comparing this lovely package to a box of chocolates, enjoying sampling one a day. I have only tried four so far and really liking Brown Sugar and Oud Bazaar as I am an Oud lover! Not so bothered about Oud Harmony as personally I prefer a more deep and smoky wood intensity but overall this discovery set is a perfect way to test and enjoy different scents and... just in case you're wondering the one that's missing is Surfari, a lovely beachy summer scent!

This has been a superb experience. Each scent is a strong contender and each so different from the last. It’s hard to choose which one I like best - so far there are 3 (perhaps 4) that I could go for! Lady Marmalade is dazzling!!! Well done Saltworks - I’ve been wondering about you for a while now, And you’ve delivered! I usually wear Penhaligans Halfeti and I believe Oud Bazaar is a very strong, long lasting match for this scent.
Great variety of scents. You can tell the quality of the perfume and pick out different aspects of the scents as the day progresses. Love the little booklet that describes each scent and its origins. Great that you get chance to really trial the scents before you buy (if you want to). Although after trialling it’s not if I’ll buy it’s more like which one will I buy as I love so many.

I'd had a free sample of Brown Sugar, then contemplated buying the Discovery Set. I'm so glad I did, wow what a sensory delight. I'm working my way through the box trying them individually and then pairing them. So far Brown Sugar and Ko Meme individually and both layered with L'Orangerie (such a versatile perfume) are my favourites, but I've still a few to go. The scent lasts longer than the day, which is amazing. I'm keeping my little box of perfumery delight in the fridge as recommended in the very useful booklet. I will definitely be treating myself to a perfume in due course.
I purchased the saltworks discovery set to take on holiday with me. It was easy to transport and I absolutely loved trying all the different scents each day. Still haven’t quite decided on my favourite, its really hard to choose!
I find it very difficult to get a perfume that I love the smell of on me. This discovery set allowed me to try lots of different scents without breaking the bank. I have an outstanding favourite (surfari) but several others that I really like. My daughter & 2 granddaughters are going to try the set out next.
All of the scents are lovely, but I’m having problems deciding between my top 5! It was definitely worth getting the set, as I would not have picked out two of my favourites from the description alone. The set is beautifully presented as well. Highly recommended

I love the Oud Bazaar It has a warm and rich sent full of surprising notes. It always depends on your own skin on how you react to different perfumes. My daughter and I love Oud Bazaar the best
Speedy delivery. Beautifully wrapped. I loved the booklet with the fragrance descriptions. My Mam and Daughter enjoyed choosing a couple of the samples for themselves. Great idea to be able to sample them all ahead of purchasing a full size bottle. The smell lasted a long time before needing to reapply. Definitely worth the money and I'll likely purchase a full size bottle at some point. This set would make a lovely gift. 10 out of 10.
I ordered both the original and the romantic sample sets and I’m so pleased I did! (My bank balance, not so much lol). As you can see from my photo, I loved so many of the scents! Warning!!! It is very hard to just choose one! they are all stunning! You must give them time on your skin as there were a few I wasn’t sure of when I first smelt them or they were not my usual sort of scent; but after wearing them for half an hour, I then loved them! My packs also came with a free sample of Kami Tonka which was my absolute fave!! All the ones I have bought are gorgeous but an extra shout out for Tabac soleil which is stunning! And Hay Jude which is unusual but becomes addictive. I used my 2 £25 off vouchers to buy 2 sets of 3 travel size bottles as I HAD to have them! And will be back for lady marmalade, l’orangerie, rose boheme and jasmine Est when money allows! X
What a lovely idea to have so many scents to try. Sadly, I've not found one that totally suits me from these 10 which is a shame.. I think Oud Harmony is the best but not sure if I like it enough to buy. The scent certainly doesn't last all day on me either. There are another couple I have read the descriptions of that I would fancy trying, but tbh, it could cost me a fortune finding the perfect smell at this rate. I like really easy smelling, light, gently floral scents & not found it in this set.

Amazing customer service! I had a problem with my order due to my own misplacement. This was promptly resolved with a help from customer care without any issue. The perfumes are a great, very long lasting, and a beautiful blend. It's very hard to choose one 😊 . So far, the Surfari is the one for this summer!
I am so pleased with my discovery set - I am in the process of working my way through the fragrances to see which I like best, but each one has been incredible. The addition of a booklet with testing notes and a space to write in my thoughts is a genius idea. These are great samples too - a stronger formulation which gives a chance for the fragrance to develop over the day. I can’t recommend this set highly enough
